The temperature in India is mainly tropical weather. There is just one climate in India because of the different geographical locations, but there are eight different climate zones to know about. The only thing that these eight zones have in common is the fact that they all experience monsoon rain weather.
The monsoons occur in India during different times of the year (not all at once, of course). From one area of India to the next, the temperature in India can go from being tropical to being cool and crisp when flying over the mountains.
The hottest spot in India is the Rajasthan Desert where it can reach a whopping 45 degrees Celsius or higher on a regular basis. The sand dunes here are very beautiful with smooth sand which shifts regularly because the winds.
However, the sand storms are nothing nice and will catch you off guard if you are in the desert during an extremely windy day. Although the Rajasthan Desert is very hot during the summer it will get cold and dry during the winter months.
The temperature in India also brings great vegetation to some places as well. In the desert, cacti are planted, acacia berry trees and others are planted from the dew that occurs over night during the cool times of the year.
In Punjab and Haryana is where the resources of sugarcane and wheat are found. The climate in these two places is drastic and changes regularly. It is very cold in these regions from December to January and it is dry and hot from March up until the end of June.
The monsoons in Punjab occur from July until September. Whichever months weren’t mentioned are usually the times of the year when it’s calm and pleasant in Punjab and Haryana.
